Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan Governor Rick Snyder joined the Sunny Morning Show today for an exclusive sit-down interview with News Director Walt Lindala.
In a fast-moving discussion, Snyder addressed a series of matters ranging from his appeal of a Federal Emergency Management Agency decision denying individual assistance to flood victims in three U.P. counties to his stance on the Enbridge Line 5 controversy.
He also talked about the current situation in the western U.P. community of Marenisco and the announced closure of the Ojibway Correctional Facility happening later this year, and what role he and his office can have in their future.
Snyder also talked about Northern Michigan University’s entrepreneurial programs and their effect in economic development in Marquette and the rest of the state.
