Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – On our latest edition of Wildcat Wednesday, Derek Hall, NMU’s Chief Marketing Officer and University Spokesperson, joined the Sunny Morning Show to talk about a wide array of things happening at Northern.
Hall started off with an update of student enrollment numbers at NMU, with a focus on continuing increases in new incoming freshmen and transfer students.
He also talked about some of the programs at NMU that have resulted in the uptick in numbers of “new to NMU” students such as the new Medicinal Plant & Chemistry program.
Hall also shared some information about changes on the campus with new buildings, renovations to current facilities and what other projects are in the works.
He also made special note of the new Northern Michigan University Wildcat Statue that was unveiled recently near Jamrich Hall on campus.
