Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Enrollment numbers are up in the Negaunee Public Schools.
Superintendent Dan Skewis joined the Sunny Morning Show this week to talk about this and other news about the Miners.
Skewis explained that while district officials were anticipating an uptick in numbers this fall, they were not expecting as many to come to Negaunee.
He said the district doe benefit from the state’s Schools of Choice program, and as a result, enrollment is up by 60 students.
Skewis also talked about some the football Miners taking on another team of football Miners from the western U.P. for the first time, and a lot more.
