Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council is holding a special raffle to raise funds to put a new roof on the historic Vista Theater in downtown Negaunee.

PAAC Board Vice President Rusty Bowers joined the Sunny Morning Show today to talk about the “roofle”.

Bowers explained that tickets are being sold at $50 apiece, and they are limiting sales to 1000.

That would raise enough funds for the winner to receive $15,000 and generate a major portion of the expenses of putting a new roof on the 92-year-old building.

Bowers said the drawing will take place this Saturday at 7:00pm and will feature a Cabaret performance and more.
