Specialized Training Being Offered For First Responders In Marquette County

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Critical Incident Stress Management Training is being offered in early November for first responders and others.

Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt and Heidi Schneiderhan, Co-Director of the Critical Incident Stress Management Team, joined the Sunny Morning Show this week to talk about the training, and who it’s for.

They explained that the training is intended to assist EMTs, police officers, firefighters, nurses, social workers and others in developing skills to handle the stresses of emergency situations and critical incidents.

The training is scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd at the Great Lakes Recovery Centers Community Room at their facility in Negaunee.
