Elf Jr. The Musical Hits The Stage This Week In Negaunee

Elf Jr. runs this week at the Vista Theater in Negaunee.

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – A stage production based on a popular Holiday film is coming to the stage of the historic Vista Theater in Negaunee later this week.

“Elf Jr. – The Musical” features over 30 area youth presenting the classic story of Buddy the Elf and his quest to find his true identity.

Lex Exworthy, President of the Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council, and Leslie Parkkonen, the director of the show, joined the Sunny Morning Show today to preview the production.

Exworthy said the show is a condensed adaptation of the film and is fun for all ages during this Holiday season.

Parkkonen said directing the kids in the show has been fun for her since many of them are newcomers to the Vista stage.

The show runs December 6th through the 8th at 7:00 pm and on December 9th at 2:00 pm, and tickets are $12 Adults, $8 Students (K-12) & Seniors (65+).
