Learn More About State Arts Grants Wednesday At The City Of Marquette Arts & Culture Center

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The City of Marquette Arts & Culture Division will host a grant workshop tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20th, from 9 a.m. to noon with representatives from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Tiina Harris, City of Marquette Arts & Culture Manager joined the Sunny Morning Show today to share information about this workshop and more.

Harris said the workshop is an opportunity for local organizations and other potential applicants to learn about the grant opportunities available through the MCACA, focusing on guidelines and the online application process.

She added that the workshop is free and open to the public; pre-registration or RSVPs are not required.

Harris said the MCACA will also be hosting an informal town hall listening session from 1 to 3 p.m. to gather feedback from community members as they develop their new strategic plan over the next year.

Both events will take place in the Marquette Arts & Culture Center in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.
