Marquette City Commission Voting On Presque Isle Park Traffic Ordinance

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening.

Commissioners will hear an update from the City’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority on current projects.

There will also be a public hearing and a roll call vote on an ordinance to regulate motor vehicles within the City park system.

Marquette City Manager Mike Angeli joined the Sunny Morning Show today to preview the meeting, and he talked about the ordinance that is being voted on this evening.

Angeli said the proposed ordinance covers all parks and specifically allows for enforcement of parking at Presque Isle Park without the addition of signs around Peter White Drive.

The meeting begins at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall on Baraga Avenue.
