Dodge Ball Tournament Happening This Weekend In Marquette To Benefit Special Olympics

MARQUETTE, MI -(Great Lakes Radio News) – Area residents and students will be able to play dodge ball this weekend on campus at Northern Michigan University and benefit Special Olympics at the same time.

The Criminal Justice Association at Northern Michigan University is sponsoring a dodge ball tournament this weekend at NMU.  The event is being held as a fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics of Michigan and is scheduled this Sunday at the Physical Education and Instructional Facility on campus.

Kelsey Sipple, one of the event’s organizers joined Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show today to remind listeners to get a team together and take part.
