Hope Starts Here Challenge Benefits Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – In recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness month, the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center will host its 7th annual Hope Starts Here Challenge tomorrow in Marquette.
Dr. Robert Winn from NMU and Dr. Richard Rovin of MGH joined Great Lakes Radio’s Walt Lindala to discuss the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center and the Hope Starts Here Challenge.
According to Rovin and Winn, this is event is the largest fundraiser for the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center. New this year is a competitive half marathon. Last year’s event drew more than 440 people and raised more than $14,000.
