Marquette, Michigan – March 1, 2019 – April Lindala, Native American Studies Professor at Northern Michigan University (and Walt’s amazing wife), recently wrote an open letter that brought tears to my eyes.
It is superbly written, classically stated, and incredibly informative.
It brought me to tears because of the raw truth within the sentences, the phrases, and the singular words used to describe and confront the world about the environmental issues we as residents of planet Earth face, and what that will look like generations from now.
The open letter is addressed to Greta Thunberg. If you do not know who she is, I encourage you to read about her here first, then proceed with April’s letter.
