Marquette Junior Hockey Looks To The Golf Course To Score A Goal

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Hockey fans who golf can channel their inner Happy Gilmore this weekend and help out Marquette Junior Hockey by hitting the links. The 13-th Annual Marquette Junior Hockey Golf Outing is being held this Saturday at the Marquette Golf and Country Club. Several teams will have the chance to battle it out on the Heritage Course and help to raise funds for the Junior Hockey Program.

Jacki Lykins, representative for Marquette Junior Hockey joined Sunny 101.9′s Mark and Walt in the Morning today to encourage listeners to take part in the annual outing. She explained how the funds raised at the outing go to help defray the expenses for kids to be involved in the Marquette Junior Hockey program.
