Marquette City Police Are reporting the arrest of two Marquette men on separate and unrelated child abuse cases.  24-year-old David Halverson was arrested last Friday on a charge of 4-th degree child abuse. Police arrested Halverson after an investigation into an incident where he left his two-year-old child unattended while taking part in an Ultimate Frisbee practice at the Superior Dome.  Neighbors called police to Whetstone Village after they witnessed a two-year-old male child leave an apartment wearing nothing but a diaper and no shoes and then begin to run around the building. Two female neighbors chased after the child, bringing him inside.  Halverson was lodged in the Marquette County Jail on $50,000 bond.
