Well, I’m Eric Scott….I hail from a small town called Ishpeming, Michigan. I was born in 1985 ago to two wonderful parents. I have one brother, one sister and one beautiful little nephew. I came to Great Lakes Radio in August 2011 to continue my passion and dream in the broadcasting industry.
Monday-Friday 12am-6am on Sunny 101.9 WKQS FM
I host the Sunny Overnight Show on Sunny 101.9 WKQS FM, the All American Morning Show on WFXD every morning on and I am also the producer of the Elmer Aho American Country Gold radio program which can be found every Saturday night from 7pm to Midnight (est) on 103.3 The Country Extreme. I absolutely LOVE working with Elmer and interacting with his great listeners every Saturday evening. I’m amazed by how many calls, emails…and even letters that are dropped off at the station specifically for Elmer! Keep ‘em coming!
I graduated from Ishpeming High School and studied broadcasting and business at Bay De Noc Community College in Escanaba. I found the broadcasting aspect a little more interesting than the business aspect of it!
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling all over the U.P. and Northern Wisconsin. In fact, my favorite vacation destination is Green Bay (mostly for the restaurant selections!) On a typical U.P. day you’ll find me surfing the net, biking, walking or just sitting on my deck enjoying a U.P. sunset. I spend a lot of time with my friends as well. Oh yeah, and I almost always have a radio on in the background wherever I may be!
I’m easy to get along with and very laid back. Very few things bother me in life. I’m here to enjoy and cherish the time that I have. I’m very close to my family and wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
If you have any suggestions for me, feel free to get in touch with me here at Great Lakes Radio. We’re here to listen to you….and you’re here to listen to us at Great Lakes Radio.
Harvey, MI – October 18th, 2016 – I’ve always loved working outside, and this past September, I jumped at the chance to help out with the horses at Willow Farms, just South or Marquette. Marquette, MI – June 15th, 2016 – As an avid cyclist and outdoor person, I like to eat. One thing that makes eating better though, is butter. Originally from Wisconsin, I had the opportunity to grow up around all sorts of farms, and I loved the fresh dairy products. I don’t know that I love […]
Marquette, MI – February 18th, 2016 – I really enjoy the snow, but don’t get me wrong, summer in the U.P. is gorgeous! This weekend, we’re supposed to have temps in the middle 40s, and that’s gotten me in the mood for spring! I love spring and summer in the U.P. for a number of […]
Marquette, MI – January 23rd, 2016 – Every single year, I dream of the day that we get our first major snowfall which signals the start of the cross-country skiing season! I’ve lived in Marquette for over ten years now, and I’ve always wanted to do the Noquemanon Ski Race! This year, I took the […]
