MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation says a few changes are coming for a major road project in Marquette County.

Beginning tomorrow, US-41 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction for reconstruction of US-41/M-28 between Marquette and Harvey. The current lane restriction is from the Carp River to Bayou Street for reconstruction.  The new lane restriction will extend to the M-28 intersection.

Work will be underway for milling and paving from M-28 intersection to Bayou Street.  The reconstruction project is expected to be completed in October.
