MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies report the arrest a Republic Township man in connection with the theft of several items of women’s clothing. 48-year-old William Joseph Miller, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested Friday evening after a search was conducted of his residence in Witch Lake.
Deputies located evidence connecting him to ten separate reported cases of stolen items of women’s swim wear and undergarments in the Witch Lake area. The investigation is on-going and additional charges may be filed.
Anyone who may have had some articles of women’s clothing or other items taken from their residences or camps in the Witch Lake area is asked to contact the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office.
