Michigan’s Statewide Gas Price Average Up

Gas prices in Michigan

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan motorists are paying nine cents less for gas this week, following last week’s nearly one-cent dip.

According to ‘Triple A Michigan’, the current statewide average of nearly three-dollars-90- cents a gallon is 22 cents more than at this time last year.

Of the cities it surveys, the auto club says the lowest prices in the state are in the Jackson area at just over three-dollars-77-cents a gallon. The highest are in the Marquette area at more than three-dollars-98-cents.

Dearborn-based ‘Triple A Michigan’ surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
