MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team report the arrest of four people in Menominee in two separate incidents.
Detectives say a Menominee man was arrested on heroin charges and additional charges are being sought against a woman involved in the arrest. The second incident resulted in the arrest of three people from Illinois on several heroin related charges.
The arrests were made in a search executed at a Menominee hotel room where a large amount of heroin was seized. An undetermined amount of cash and evidence of heroin sales were also confiscated.
Both cases are currently under review by the Menominee County Prosecutor and no names have been released.
