Bell has a new CEO

MARQUETTE, MI — (Great Lakes Radio News) — Officials with Bell Hospital in Ishpeming have named a new Chief Executive Officer.

56-year-old Floyd Bounds will start in the position on Monday.  His hiring comes after Bell Hospital operated without a CEO since the resignation of former CEO Rick Ament last October.

The hospital says Bounds, who is coming to the area from Florida, will be working under an 18 month contract with an option for an extension.

Bounds is a 25-year veteran of health care administration and has served as CEO at several hospitals across the country.
