'Vision for Marquette' meetings tonight

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Planning Commission and Marquette Community Development Department staffs are moving into the second phase of the ʺVision for Marquetteʺ community visioning process.

Marquette residents and organizations are invited to participate in the first of two Community Master Plan workshops tonight which will seek to define a Marquette vision for the themes of ʺQuality of Lifeʺ and ʺEconomy.ʺ

These two themes embrace several topics that were identified and prioritized in previous visioning workshops held in the spring.

Tonight’s session on quality of life and the economy will run from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Citizens Forum room in Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
