Sex offender arrested in Menominee County

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at the Gladstone Post report the arrest of a sex offender who failed to register their new address.

Troopers arrested 29-year-old Tyler Paul Judd for failing to comply with the sex offender registration act.  Judd was arraigned in Menominee County District Court yesterday.

Failing to register as a sex offender is a four year felony.  The arrest came after troopers received information from U.S. Federal Marshalls that Judd could not be located at his previous address in Washington state.

Following a multi-agency effort with federal, state and local authorities, Judd was located at a Menominee Township address and was arrested.
