Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The jury now has the case after closing arguments were heard today in the trial of a Forsyth Township man charged in the death of his girlfriend.
The prosecution and defense rested their cases yesterday in Marquette County Circuit Court in the trial of 46-year-old Steven Zintman of Gwinn.
Zintman is charged with First Degree Murder and Arson of a Dwelling in connection with a house fire at a residence at the former K.I. Sawyer air base in May of 2014.
The fire claimed the life of 46-year-old Sally Plume.
Zintman faces up to life in prison on both charges if convicted.
