Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A jury has found a Forsyth Township man guilty in the death of his girlfriend.
The jury handed down the verdict against 46-year-old Steven Zintman of Gwinn after less than three hours of deliberation yesterday in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Zintman was charged with First Degree Murder and Arson of a Dwelling in connection with a house fire at a residence at the former K.I. Sawyer air base in May of 2014.
The fire claimed the life of 46-year-old Sally Plume.
Zintman faces up to life in prison and is expected to be sentenced in the next few weeks.
