GM Sales Increasing in China
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – While sales continue to lag in Europe, General Motors is reporting a healthy 14 percent sales gain in China last month.
The automaker sold nearly 252,000 vehicles despite a slowing economy in the world’s fastest growing auto market. So far this year, sales in the country are up by 10.5 percent, which translates to more than 2.3 million vehicles.
GM reported a pre-tax profit of $689 million dollars in its International Operations for the third quarter.
