Domestic Disturbance in Ewen Leads to Arrest

Domestic disturbance in EwenMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)State Police at the Wakefield Post responded to a domestic disturbance call yesterday afternoon in Ewen.

Troopers were called out just after 3 p.m.  A 65-year-old Ewen man was arrested and charged with Felonious Assault and Domestic Violence after he had pointed a handgun at his wife during the incident.

A shotgun, two rifles and a handgun were all seized during the investigation.  Bond was set at $50,000 cash for the Felonious Assault count and $5,000 for the count of domestic violence.

The man, whose name is being withheld, was lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail.
