Two Wanted in Calumet for Bad Checks
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police are looking for an Upper Peninsula couple accused of passing bad checks in the Calumet area.
32-year-old Christina Gagnon of Calumet and 40-year old Raymond Ojala Junior of Hubbell are being sought for questioning in the ongoing criminal investigation.
The two were last seen on Thanksgiving night when police were called about a family disturbance. Gagnon and Ojala fled the scene with her 11-year old son and have not been seen since. The child has not been back to school since the incident.
The suspects were driving a green, four-door 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with Michigan registration CCD8098. Gagnon is wanted on several felony counts of Uttering and Publishing and Forgery of checks.
The case is still under investigation and additional charges are pending.
