Governor Snyder on re-electionMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Governor Rick Snyder says he won’t wait until 2014 to make his intentions known concerning seeking re-election.

Snyder has not announced whether he would seek another term in office, and while all indications are he will run for re-election there remains speculation that he may not decide not to seek another four years.

On Monday, in an interview with Gongwer News Service, Snyder was asked at what point in the calendar he would have to make his plans official. Snyder said “Sometime during 2013. You can’t wait until 2014.”

When asked whether he planned to run, Snyder said his top priority for 2013 was improving the alignment of the state’s talent with available jobs.
