Man Arrested with Connections to Subway Burglaries in Midwest

Fire in Marquette CountyMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)A 50-year old man was arrested in Wisconsin yesterday in connection with burglaries at the two Subway Restaurants in Escanaba.

The suspect may have been involved in burglaries that focused on Subway Restaurants throughout the Midwest.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the safes at the Escanaba Subways a week ago.

Escanaba Public Safety says the Ashwaubenon Police Department arrested the Green Bay, Wisconsin man for parole violation based on information provided by Escanaba. A search of the man’s vehicle lead to evidence linking him to the Escanaba burglaries.

Authorities believe he may be involved in burglaries at Subway Restaurants in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
