Two-Vehicle Accident Leaves One Dead in Cedarville Township

Two-vehicle accident leaves on dead in Menominee CountyMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The Menominee County Sheriff’s Department is continuing their investigation into a fatal two-vehicle crash that closed M-35 for about four hours Friday evening.

The accident occurred just after 5 p.m. central time on M-35 in Cedarville Township, near County Road 551 when a minivan struck a pickup truck head-on.

A passenger in the pickup truck, 50-year-old Jill Anderson of Stephenson, was killed in the crash.  The driver of the pickup was 52-year-old Jeffery Anderson, also of Stephenson was injured and was last listed in fair condition at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The driver of the minivan, 73-year-old Margaret Winter of Negaunee, was also injured in the accident and was also last listed in fair condition at St. Vincent’s in Green Bay.
