Marquette Police Looking For Public’s Help in Vehicular Accident

Sheriff's department looking for public's helpMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in the investigation into a single-vehicle accident that happened yesterday afternoon on US-41 in Marquette Township.

Deputies say a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 22-year-old Nicole Carr of Marquette, was eastbound on US-41 around 4 p.m. when a white, full size, four-door Ford pickup truck moved into her lane and forced her off of the roadway.

The two vehicles did not hit each other, but Carr drove onto the driveway of the Culver’s Restaurant, over a rock berm and into the Red Lobster restaurant parking lot coming to a rest next to the building. She complained of some neck pain but did not request medical treatment.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have information about the incident or can identify the white, full size, four-door Ford pickup to call them at 225-8640.
