Student Charged in Bomb Threat Incident

Menominee student charged in bomb threat incidentMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Authorities in the southern U.P. say a student was arrested and charged this week with making a bomb threat at the Menominee Junior and Senior High School.

According to reports, the juvenile male student allegedly wrote the threat on a piece of paper which was found in a Junior High classroom on Tuesday. The school was locked down and students remained in class.

School officials said the student faces stiff penalties because of the incident, and will face criminal charges as well.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
