Ishpeming Man to be Sentenced on Meth Charges

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)A Marquette County man is scheduled to go to trial in early August after entering a not guilty plea yesterday to a pair of methamphetamine charges.

31-year-old Todd Raymond Wentworth of Ishpeming entered the plea yesterday in Marquette County Circuit Court.  He is charged with one count of Operating or Maintaining a Meth Lab and one count of Conspiracy to Operate or Maintain a Meth Lab. If convicted on the charges, which date back to November of last year, each one carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Wentworth faces a pre-trial hearing on June 24.  He is currently being held at the Marquette County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
