Possible Attempted Kidnapping in Alger County

Great Lakes Radio NewsMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post are on the lookout for a man and a woman involved in a possible attempted kidnapping in Au Train Township.

Police say at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the pair knocked on a man’s door on Alger County Road 440 asking for help saying that their car broke down. The two suspects attacked the man who answered the door and fled the scene.

Authorities describe the woman as white, 5’4″ tall, between 20 and 25 years of age with dark shoulder length hair. The male companion is described as 5’11” with blond hair and was wearing baggy jeans.
