MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan DNR Fisheries Division has released the final version of a new five-year strategic plan.
Officials say the plan will be used to guide future management activities of the division in managing the various components of the state’s fisheries.
The plan was developed through a process that involved the public, constituent groups and DNR staff. More than 10,000 people provided input through online or telephone surveys to develop the plan, which can be found online at michigan.gov/fishing.
