MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine the cause of death of a student at Northern Michigan University.
22-year-old Monica Matus, of Chicago, was found deceased in her Woodland Park apartment Friday afternoon.
Matus was an art and design-secondary education major and a film studies minor.
NMU Public Safety and Police Services say although the body will undergo an autopsy today, no foul play is suspected in the case.
