MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Criminal charges have been authorized against the driver of a pickup truck who caused a three vehicle accident in February in Ontonagon County.
Charges against 17-year-old Zachary Seld of Rockland include one count of Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury. The charge is a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or $1,000-$5,000 fine.
The Ontonagon County Prosecutor filed the charge late last week for the accident that happened on February 3 on US-45, near Woodspur Road in Ontonagon Township.
A juvenile female passenger in the Seld vehicle was charged with Use of Marijuana. Seld remains lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail.
