Gas Prices Up Nearly a Quarter
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan motorists are getting a real jolt at the gas pumps this week.
Triple-A reports that the current statewide average price is now almost $3.75 per gallon. That’s up more than 23 cents from a week ago. On the bright side, the average is still down nine cents a gallon from last year at this time.
Among the cities surveyed by the Auto Club, the lowest price reported was in the Marquette area at just under #3.55. The highest was in the Jackson area, at almost $3.79 per gallon.
