Negaunee Man Charged in Ishpeming Break-In
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Ishpeming City Police report the arrest of a Negaunee man in connection with a recent break-in at the Huron Mountain Bakery store in Ishpeming.
30-year-old Charles Elveteci was charged yesterday on one count of Breaking and Entering of a Building with Intent, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. He was charged while lodged in the Marquette County Jail on an unrelated matter.
Surveillance video at the store and police investigation identified Elveteci as the main suspect in the case and he was arraigned on the charge this morning in 96th District Court with bond set at 10 percent of $25,000.
He faces a preliminary examination on Monday, May 6 at 3:15 p.m.
