MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Two Keweenaw Bay Indian Community commercial fishermen who were reported missing on Lake Superior have been located.
James Denomie and Floyd Forcia, Jr., went out on to Lake Superior with their fishing vessel last night near Lac La Belle, and did not return at their expected time. A rescue effort was organized by the U.S. Coast Guard and the KBIC Tribal Police.
According to authorities, the men were located and are reported to be in good condition. No other details are available at this time.
