Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Northern Michigan University has begun implementation a new Realignment Plan for the Marquette school.

NMU President Fritz Erickson says the first steps are now being taken on campus and will include changes across all divisions of the university.

He says among the foremost steps is applying a new strategic plan as approved by the NMU Board of Trustees.

Erickson says a critical review is now underway of all areas of NMU to identify any changes needed to ensure all aspects of the university are aligned with the desired outcomes of the strategic plan.
