Iron River Man Charged with Two Murder Charges

    Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)An Upper Peninsula man has pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the alcohol-fueled stabbing death of another U.P. man in North Dakota last month.

    31-year-old Ryan Anderson of Iron River is charged with murder and attempted murder. He’s accused of stabbing to death 32-year-old Christopher King of Iron River and attempting to stab David Nardi on March 17 at the Capital Lodge oil field camp near Ray, North Dakota following a physical altercation with Nardi’s girlfriend.

    The Williams County Sheriff’s Office says Anderson used a standard folding knife to stab King twice in the chest and twice in the stomach. Nardi was stabbed when he tried to stop Anderson.

    No trial date has been set.
