Two Alger County Teens Go to Court for Breaking, Entering Tomorrow

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Two Alger County teenagers face a preliminary examination next week for the breaking and entering of a Shingleton gas station.

18-year-old Ruben Sifuentes of Munising and 17-year-old Brandon Monroe of Shingleton are scheduled to appear for the exam next Tuesday.

The pair were arrested and charged with the break-in of an Oasis gas station in Shingleton last Sunday. The break-in was stopped by the owner of the gas station and he was also able to identify one of the suspects, which lead to their quick arrest.

Sifuentes and Monroe remain lodged in the Alger County jail on charges of breaking and entering.
