Road Closures in the U.P.
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan Department Of Transportation officials say they are monitoring routes across the U.P. heading into the weekend because of the rain and snow that is in the forecast, especially in the western U.P.
Elsewhere, Business US-2 was closed in the city of Ironwood on Wednesday because of floodwater from the Montreal River. And in Marquette County, two local roads are closed due to flooding: County Road 478, which is also known as the Greenwood Reservoir Road, and County Road JJG, known as Grimes Road.
They are closed until further notice, according to the Marquette County Road Commission.
