Presque Isle Marina to Close Monday for Dredging

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The City of Marquette’s Parks and Recreation office is letting boaters know that the Presque Isle Marina and boat launch will be closed to the public beginning Monday until July 1.

The closure is for the Presque Isle Marina Dredging Project, which is expected to last for approximately ten weeks. The Cinder Pond Marina boat launch will be available to the community for the duration of the project.

City officials say the dredging is the first phase of the project, which has been broken down into five phases.
