NMU Commencement Saturday in Superior Dome

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Northern Michigan University’s spring commencement is set for tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. in the Superior Dome on campus.

Robin Feuerman of Longwood, Fla., has been selected as the student speaker. She will receive a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in human behavior.

The keynote commencement speaker will be Felicia Fields, who leads the global human resources and corporate services functions for Ford Motor Company. She also will receive an honorary Doctor of Business degree.

Mike Roy, retired NMU vice president and former interim president, also will receive an honorary Doctor of Business degree at the ceremony.

Northern’s commencement will be broadcast live on WNMU-TV, Public TV 13 and streamed online free of charge by America One/B2 Networks. For more information, visit www.nmu.edu/commencement.
