Escanaba Women Charged with Robbery
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Delta County woman charged in a robbery of the Grain ‘N’ Grape Convenience store in Escanaba has been sentenced.
21-year-old Abby Johnson of Escanaba was sentenced on four separate charges in connection with the robbery of the store in August.
She was sentenced to 12 months behind bars on one count of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in a Building with credit for 88 days served and two years probation. She was also sentenced to 88 days in jail for a count Attempted Larceny in a Building with credit for 88 days served. She was also sentenced to 11 months with 88 days credit for one count of Larceny of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
On a final charge of Larceny of $200 or more but less than $1,000 she was given 88 days in jail with 88 days credited for time served. Johnson also owes court costs and fines and all sentences will run concurrently.
