Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The City of Marquette Department of Public Works says due to a water main break during the East Washington Street Reconstruction Project today, some area residents may experience air and discoloration in their water.

Taps may need to be run to let out any air and to flush out any discoloration. Grit may build up in the aerators located at the ends of the faucets which may cause decrease in water flow. Simply clean out the aerator by removing it and tapping out any grit.

If discoloration or low water flow continues, please contact the Department of Public Works at 228-0444.
