Powerball Jackpot Record
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) –The Powerball jackpot has topped half-a-billion dollars.
No one won Wednesday night’s grand prize so the jackpot moves to an estimated record of at least $550 million. Lottery officials say one ticket worth $1 million was sold in Michigan. That ticket was purchased at Goldsworthy’s Inc. in Blanchard, which is about 20 miles southwest of Mt. Pleasant in Isabella County.
The last big Michigan Powerball winner was Donald Lawson of Lapeer who won $337 million on August 15, 2012.
The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night.
