Sault Ste. Marie, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Three people have been arrested on several drug charges in the eastern U.P.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force says 27-year-old Adam Edwardson and 26-year-old Britney Edwardson, both of Sault Ste. Marie, and 22-year-old Alisa Leblanc of Brimley were arrested Wednesday night.

The charges include manufacturing and maintaining a meth lab to maintaining a drug house.

Authorities say the arrests came after they stopped a suspicious vehicle leaving a residence in the Sault and discovered an active meth lab inside the vehicle.

Investigators believe the trio is responsible for multiple meth labs that were discovered over the last week.
