Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A dormant Marquette Township lumber yard and retail location has been purchased by an Upper Michigan development group.

Dagenais Enterprises of Escanaba has purchased the former Pro Build building supply location to construct a new Riverside Auto Mall of Marquette.

According to Riverside Marquette General Manager Paul Halbur, the dealership will be relocating from it’s current location in the Marquette Mall.

Halbur says the move will allow Dagenais Enterprises, which owns the Marquette Mall property and the dealership, to demolish the majority of the mall for a complete ground-up rebuild as a retail location.

The new Auto Mall is expected to be completed by spring of 2017.
